Fair Access: keeping bots out

What it is

An extra step organizers can add to a waiting room. Before joining the line, you confirm your email with a 6-digit code we send you.

Why it helps

Bots and resellers rely on grabbing many places in line at once. With Fair Access, each place needs a real inbox. Throwaway inboxes are refused, and each address holds one place. Tickets go to the email you confirmed, so a place can’t be handed on.

It adds to the bot check and the per-buyer ticket limits.

How to get through

Enter your email in the waiting room, choose Send my code, then type the code. Nothing after a minute? Check your spam folder. A code works for 10 minutes and allows 5 tries. You can ask for a new one after a minute.

If you’re signed in and your account email is confirmed, you skip the code. Use that same email when you check out.

Your information

We use the email only to send the code and match your place in line to your order. Codes are stored scrambled and deleted within a day. More in our privacy policy.
