Questions from organizers

How much does it cost to sell tickets?

Free events are free. On paid tickets there’s a small service fee per ticket: on a $50.00 ticket it’s $2.74. You choose whether buyers pay it or you cover it.

Do you charge sales tax on my tickets?

Only if you’re registered. Add your GST/HST number (and QST or Saskatchewan PST if you have them) in Wallet and we charge the right tax for each event’s province. It’s paid out with your sales, and you remit it.

How do I get paid?

Connect your Canadian bank account in Wallet through Stripe. It takes a few minutes, and ticket money is paid out to your bank on a rolling schedule.

Can my sale handle a rush when a big show goes on sale?

Yes. Turn on the waiting room in your event’s Checkout tab and choose how many people to let in each minute. Places are random, a bot check keeps scripts out, and checkout never gets overloaded.

How do I check people in at the door?

Open your event and choose Check in. Scan each QR code with your phone’s camera, or type the code on the ticket.

Can I sell group tickets or a VIP table on Fesac Ticket?

Yes. Set a group size on a ticket type, like 4 for a group or 6 for a booth. Each person gets their own QR code.
