Terms of service
Last updated October 16, 2026
1. Who does what
Fesac Ticket is a marketplace: organizers list events and sell tickets, and we provide the tools, take payments for them and send the tickets. The organizer of an event is the seller of its tickets and is responsible for the event itself: that it happens as described, is safe and lawful, and honours the tickets.
By using the site you agree to these terms. If you sell tickets you also agree to Stripe’s Connected Account Agreement, which covers your payouts.
2. Accounts
You can buy tickets without an account. If you create one, give your real name and an email address you control, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract where you live (or have a parent or guardian’s permission).
3. Buying tickets
Prices are in Canadian dollars. Before you pay, checkout shows the ticket price, the service fee (unless the organizer covers it) and any sales tax, and that total is what you’re charged. Your tickets are held for 30 minutes while you pay.
A ticket is a licence to attend the event, under the organizer’s entry conditions (age limits, ID, bag checks). Each QR code admits one person once. Tickets are personal to you, or to whoever you transfer them to through the site. Each ticket type has a limit per person.
Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
4. Selling tickets
Describe your event accurately, including the date, place, prices, age limits and refund policy, and keep it up to date. To sell paid tickets you need a confirmed email address and a Stripe payout account; Stripe checks who you are before it pays you.
You receive the ticket price and any sales tax you charge, less our fee when you choose to cover it. You’re responsible for collecting and remitting your own sales tax, and for any permits and licences your event needs.
Ticket money goes to your Stripe account when each ticket sells and waits there until your event has happened: we pay each event out to your bank a few days after it ends (sooner for events far in the future, because Stripe can only hold money for about three months). Until you have a few payouts behind you, part of each payout is held back for about a month to cover chargebacks, your first payout is checked by our team, and there’s a limit on how much you can sell before it. We can also hold a payout while we look into chargebacks, many refunds, an event that seems not to have happened, or a breach of these terms.
If you cancel an event, every buyer is refunded in full, fees included, and the refunded amounts are taken back from your Stripe account. Refunds you give, and chargebacks on your orders, are also taken from your Stripe balance and your upcoming payouts, including any amount held back. If that isn’t enough, Stripe may debit the bank account linked to your payouts, we may hold your payouts, and we may ask you to pay the remaining amount.
Use buyers’ information only to run your event and contact them about it, and handle it according to Canadian privacy law.
5. Not allowed
Using bots or scripts to buy or hold tickets, buying tickets to resell them in breach of the law where the event takes place, listing fake or misleading events, selling tickets you don’t have the right to sell, harassing anyone through the site’s messages, trying to get into accounts or data that aren’t yours, or interfering with how the site works.
We can remove listings, cancel orders placed in breach of these terms (with a refund), and suspend accounts that break them. If we suspend a seller, events already sold may be cancelled and refunded.
6. Our responsibility
We work to keep the site available and your tickets accurate, but we can’t promise it will never be down. We aren’t responsible for an event itself; claims about how an event was run belong with its organizer. As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us on the order concerned. Nothing in these terms takes away rights you have as a consumer under the law of your province.
7. Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when. Questions: hello@fesacticket.com. See also our privacy policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of Canada and of the province you live in.
